Develops plans that meet present and anticipated space and facility requirements.
Monitors and inspects all buildings and equipment to ensure that utility systems are fully operational and that preventive maintenance schedules are being followed.
Prepares cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations.
Evaluates completed work and checks for conformance to specifications.
Will assist with the safety compliance and program initiatives for the facility .
Will be responsible for and manage security functions for the facility.
Participate in federal, municipal, city, and state regulatory audits for the facility.
Establish and/or assist in obtaining training procedures on matters relating to environmental, fire prevention, and other issues under the scope of this position.
Coordinate all required environmental programs in the facility.
Follow-up on implemented projects to assure expenditure justification targets are achieved in a timely manner
Investigate incidents involving major property losses.
Monitor company compliance with governmental regulations, safety and housekeeping and plant security
Qualifications
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. At least 6 years of experience as a facilities engineer or in a similar role. Experience with AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Experience : Knowledge of the building process and construction principles. Experience in facilities , Industrial and Environmental enginering with demostrated skills in lean manufacturing , 5-S principles and layout skills using Autocad. Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
Skills /Ability:
Good verbal , written , and interpersonal communication skills proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to implement the ITW Tool Box
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Project management skills.
