Join us and let’s get started. Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Water group in the Philadelphia, PA office. As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will act as a technical lead of water resources projects related to but not limited to any of the following: green stormwater infrastructure projects, municipal water resources projects; or analysis and design of stormwater or roadway drainage systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preparing and reviewing working drawings, plans, cost estimates, studies, reports, and other work products Analysis and design of stormwater drainage system, hydraulic structures, and roadway drainage systems Must be capable of performing independent tasks, reviewing technical work of others Develop H&H modeling, permit applications and planning level engineering studies Mentoring, leading, and training junior level staff Present design solutions to AECOM project teams and clients Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and computation skills Knowledge of civil engineering design principle Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Professional Engineer’s license Preferred Qualifications Ten (10) years or more of relevant work experience with stormwater management, design and permitting using AutoCAD Civil 3D Demonstrable experience of overseeing or reviewing the engineering design Experience with the Philadelphia Water Department green infrastructure design program Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (SWMM; HEC HMS/RAS; HydroCAD, StormCAD) Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position.
