This work will primarily revolve around washing, robotics, packing, material movement, and staging of materials. Essential Functions:
· Research, develop, and implement measurable production processes within the specified time frame, and recommend improvements and cost reduction strategies.
· Assist in determining material handling, storage, and flow requirements.
· Develop and maintain production layouts and prepare alternatives on the CAD program.

Specialized and Custom Fabrication Product Support
Manage all Vulcan custom product offerings and projects:
Point person for all field requests for custom fabrication range projects, including suites and line-ups that may include other Vulcan or outsourced product lines.
Working alongside external vendors and the Vulcan CAD/Revit/Drawing specialist, manages the coordination and fulfillment of all custom proposals. Coordinates all revision and follow-up activities.
Produces quotes and manages discounting parameters for projects that include custom fabricated components.
Evaluates and secures back-up sources for custom fabrication.
Responsible for managing the selection and procurement of non-Vulcan (sourced) products when required.
Works closely with Vulcan field sales organization, consultants, and dealers to obtain necessary information, clarifications, and follow-up.
Tracks all proposals to assure orders are secured.
Reviews and approves all order documentation including PO and approval drawings.
Obtain shipping quotes and coordinates delivery requirements with freight company.
Oversees installation and start-up of all custom fabricated project
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferable focus on Business management, sales management, or technical (engineering)
Experience:
Candidate should have experience in foodservice equipment, preferably with premier cooking equipment manufacture. Experience with heavy-duty ranges and suites is a plus.
Must be familiar or have direct experience with foodservice equipment custom fabrication and installation.
Qualifications: Strong analytical skills and detail orientation. Effective communication, writing skills, and interpersonal skills required.

Responsible for creating work instructions to control processes
· Ensure Supplier Quality Manuals are being followed by Supplier (Ex: response times, chargebacks, etc)
· Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrences of non‐conformances
· Work to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply
Foster long‐term supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideas
Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base
